Exciting new roles have become available for an account manager and an account executive to join the marketing and media relations team at The Dovetail Agency, a dynamic central London consultancy specialising in luxury travel and lifestyle. The client portfolio ranges from bespoke safaris, boutique city hotels and beach resorts, to fine jewellery and premium beauty brands. 

Account Manager 

This role is appropriate for a communications professional with experience in the travel and lifestyle sectors. In this role you would progress your consultancy skills, overseeing the day to day management of accounts and maintaining positive client relationships. 

The Role:

  • Provide efficient and professional leadership on accounts and act as a trusted point of contact for clients
  • Create and execute PR strategies
  • Monitor media to identify timely opportunities for clients and develop industry knowledge
  • Attend and manage client/industry events and media visits
  • Develop media networks
  • Identify potential new clients for Dovetail
  • Drive social media for the agency and for clients  

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Graduated in appropriate subject
  • Minimum of one year of PR/ Marketing experience as an account manager
  • Excellent client skills and an ability to develop client relationships
  • Editorial copywriting experience
  • Persuasive communication skills, excellent attention to detail, self-motivated and creative
  • Strong understanding of social media and developing campaigns
  • Experience in the travel and lifestyle sector
  • Network of key contacts within travel and luxury lifestyle media
  • Ability to travel - Foreign language an advantage

Account Executive 

This role is appropriate for an individual at a junior level looking to develop their PR experience and knowledge of the luxury travel and lifestyle industries.  

The Role:

  • Supporting the account management team on a mix of global client accounts
  • Conducting client and industry research
  • Creative writing and the management of social media campaigns
  • Full ownership of specific projects / PR campaigns for UK and international launches
  • Establishing a network of media and industry contacts
  • Attending industry events to develop sector knowledge

Required Skills andExperience:

  • Graduated in appropriate subject
  • PR/ Marketing experience in the travel and lifestyle sector, either in a junior account executive role or relevant internships
  • Digitally-savvy with experience of social media
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel - foreign language an advantage
